‘Stormgade’ captures the intriguing shadow play of the Stormgade passage on a sunny spring day. Located in central Copenhagen, the Stormgade passage flanks the National Museum, connecting the Frederiksholm Canal and Vester Voldgade. During sunny afternoons, the repeating columns and elongated shadows create a powerful sense of rhythm, depth, and direction, inviting you to step into the scene and follow the pattern as it disappears into the distance.
‘Stormgade’ was photographed by photographer Brian Andersen in Copenhagen in March 2025, using a 50 year old 50mm Pentacon vintage lens. The lens’ optical flaws add sun flares from the upper right of the image, giving the image a cinematic and dreamlike mood.
The photo is available as exclusive fine art prints in various sizes. If you are looking for a less expensive option, an art poster version with a feature title is also available. Read more about the two options below.
